My good friend and I spent a week co-teaching Science and Engineering Camp through a local summer camp. Preparing for camp together was fun for us. We both brought our ideas and research to a couple of meetings as we planned what, specifically, to teach. Upon arrival, we went straight to the LEGO exhibit. After waiting for just a few minutes, we were usher.
Children as young as three enthusiastically wash laundry using a washboard. During my recent pioneer workshops, a few of the children recognized the washboards. We placed the washboards in the tubs and then the children got to work as part of the pioneer life workshop. The child below is actually washing a sock. When he was making butter. Some of the cream got onto his sock. He thought this was the perfect opportunity for cleaning it.

Sunday, June 26, 2011. It has been so long since my last post. Great friend has re-inspired me to post with the start of her wonderful blog! So, this summer has been crazy since the day we got out of school. Between dance recital rehearsals, pictures, and dance recital, tball, puddle ducks, PAWS class, and more tball, afternoons at the pool, golfing, camping - I have found some time for my garden and some junking. I am still looking for some scrappin time! I need to figure out a b.
Lauren is my senior representative from Valley High School and was so much fun to photograph. Sabry Albuquerque, Glamour Photographer. I was so excited to finally meet up with Sabry to shoot last month.
Maybe I can brake my collarbone again! Brinlee just finished her dance season. It ended with a big year-end revue! She performed twice. She is very outgoing and loves to be on stage showing off! She loves every bit of it ALL- the dancing, the hairspray, make-up and dressing up. It was too much fun watching her perform.
